I’ve admired John Welbourn’s programming for sometime now, “Forging the Power Athlete”, has been a slogan that really peaked my interest.  Plus my Uncle Gordie will really get a kick that I’m following an 11 year NFL Linebacker’s strength and conditioning template!  So with my ball season ready to start as soon as the diamonds dry off, and no Olympic meets in the near future, its time that I stop lurking the CFFB site, and time to get “Bigger, Faster, Stronger”, hit some bombs, and steal a few more bases this summer, may even have a few team-mates joining me with this training(more on that on a later date)   Hell with my decision to move up to the 94kg division, maybe I’ll even give the GOMAD diet a go as well!(Gallon of milk a day).  Though this could all be thrown out the window on a whim, if Rob gives me another olympic program, or I actually decide to buckle down, and write a solid 3 month template like last year, Regardless hear is the past few days of training.
